Vitamin D is essential for promoting calcium absorption in the gut and maintaining adequate serum calcium and phosphate concentrations to enable normal mineralization of bone and prevent hypocalcemic tetany. It is also needed for bone growth and bone remodeling by osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Without sufficient vitamin D, bones can become thin, brittle, or misshapen. Vitamin D sufficiency prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Together with calcium, vitamin D also helps protect older adults from osteoporosis. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Take 1 tablet daily.
Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 400 IU, Cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, maltodextrin, stearic acid. Contains <2% of: bha, bht, gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, starch, sucrose, vegetable oil, water. No added yeast, artificial flavors or colors.

Stop use and contact a physician if adverse reactions occur. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if product appears to be tampered with or seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
