This medicine is a flora modifier used to restore and maintain the normal bacterial balance of the mouth and gastrointestinal tract. Sometimes antibiotics can disrupt the normal balance of bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, causing diarrhea. This product has been used for diarrhea due to antibiotic use and can help to restore the normal balance of intestinal bacteria. It has also been used for vaginal and urinary tract infections.
