An essential component of any diabetic's health kit; it's important to maintain a steady stock of these pricking tools, as doctors recommend that you dispose of the used lancet after each finger stick to minimize your risk of infection, as well as the pain associated with dull lancets. OneTouch; Ultrasoft; Lancets are gentle on your fingers, allowing for a less painful stick when used with the OneTouch; Penlet® Plus Adjustable Blood Sampler. Further, Life Scan's glucose systems allow you to avoid pain by testing on your arm rather than a finger, which has more nerve endings than your arm. OneTouch Ultrasoft lancets need only a tiny blood sample, so you don't need to penetrate deeply when drawing blood. In addition, the OneTouch Ultra meter is accurate within five seconds. While Ultrasoft sterile lancets are designed specifically for Life Scan's OneTouch glucose monitoring systems, they should fit most other blood sampling devices.
Wash hands with soap and warm water and dry well. Load lancet into lancing device and twist off protective cap. Choose a spot on the side of a different finger each time you take a blood sample. Follow lancing device manufacturer’s instructions for obtaining a blood sample. Discard after use.
Package contains 100 single use sterile lancets, 28 gauge.
Keep out of reach of children. DO NOT USE if protective disk has been damaged or removed.
