Although improved nutrition has dramatically reduced the incidence of iron deficiency and anemia, the condition continues to affect many children in the US. Enfamil Fer-In-Sol is designed to complement your breast milk or formula with 100% of the daily value of iron for infants, and 150% of the daily value of iron for children under 4 years of age. Enfamil vitamins can be easily given by dispensing directly into the mouth or mixed with breast milk, formula, juice, cereal or other foods to increase acceptance. All Enfamil Pediatric Vitamins are gluten-free and have no artificial colors or artificial flavors. Note: The product may cause stools to appear darker in color or temporary discoloration of teeth - this is normal, temporary, and is no cause for concern *This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. How to use the enclosed dropper: Fill the dropper to the 1 mL line to provide the full daily dosage. Use full dosage, regardless of age or weight, unless your childs doctor recommends a different dosage. Dispense with a single squeeze of the dropper bulb. It is normal for a small amount to remain in the tip. Dosing tips: Drops may be given by dispensing directly into the mouth Drops may also be mixed with formula, fruit juice, cereal or other foods to increase your childs acceptance. Refrigeration not required. After opening, store away from direct sunlight.
