Description

Detachol Adhesive Remover is a gentle, non-irritating, adhesive remover used to remove dressings, wound closure strips, tapes, tubes, and, of course, Mastisol Liquid Adhesive. Detachol works well around the face since the pleasant fragrance will not irritate the eyes or nose.

Directions

Crack: Place an individual vial blister pack on a hard surface with the label facing down. Gently apply pressure to the vial through the blister pack to crush the inner ampule to release Detachol.

Peel: Peel back the lid of the blister pack and remove the vial using aseptic technique.

Apply: By gently squeezing the vial, apply Detachol to the corner of the tape or dressing. Once the corner is saturated, carefully lift the tape or dressing. Continue squeezing the vial, while gently lifting the tape or dressing at the same time. Continue application until adhesive is completely removed. Clean the area with mild soap and water. Avoid contact with broken skin.

Ingredients

Detachol Adhesive Remover contains Specially Refined Paraffin Hydrocarbons. Does not contain acetone, benzene, or chloroform.
