Citrucel Methylcellulose Fiber Caplets for Occasional Constipation Relief are a clinically proven fiber therapy that gently (2) helps relieve occasional constipation. Similar to a gentle fiber supplement, these great tasting orange flavored fiber caplets give you 100 percent soluble fiber to help treat occasional constipation without causing unwanted excess gas (1). For best results, start using this methylcellulose fiber at the first sign of constipation or irregularity. Generally, results occur between 12 to 72 hours. Adults and children age 12 and older start with 2 fiber caplets. Increase as needed up to 6 times per day but do not exceed 12 caplets per day. Take with at least 8 ounces of water. Directions

Take this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Adult & children 12 years of age and over: Dose: Start with 2 caplets. Increase as needed up to 6 times per day. Maximum dose: Do not exceed 12 caplets per day. Children 6-11 years of age: Dose: Start with 1 caplet. Increase as needed up to 6 times per day Maximum dose: Do not exceed 6 caplets per day. Children under 6 years of age: Consult a physician.
