Directions

Adults: 1 teaspoonful daily, or as directed by a doctor.

Children under 12 years of age:Consult a doctor. Mix with water; other beverages may inhibit iron absorpation.

Warnings

A doctor should be contacted for advice concerning treatment of any anemic condition. Oral iron products interfere with absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics and should not be taken within 2 hours of each other. Iron-containing products may occasionally cause constipation or diarrhea and liquids may cause temporary staining of the teeth (this is less likely when diluted). As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is the leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6.

KEEP THIS PRODUCT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or Poison Control Center immediately.

TAMPER EVIDENT: Do not use this product if the imprinted band around child-resistant cap is missing or broken.

Other Information

Store in a tight, light-resistant container at room temperature. Protect from freezing. Dispense in a tight, light-resistant container as defined in the USP, with child-resistant closures.

Sucrose, corn syrup. Alcohol 5% (ethyl alcohol), citric acid, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, FD&C yellow #6, and artificial cherry flavor.
