Twist or fold the packing for easy insertion. Insert the packing all the way into the nasal cavity and leave for 30 minutes. Apply pressure with fingers to the covered wound for one minute or until bleeding stops When bleeding stops, remove packing, cover with band-aid or cover packing directly with band-aid.
