Uses
Upset stomach, indigestion, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea.
Directions
Adults and children 12 yrs and over: 2 caplets. Children: 9 to under 12 yrs.: 1 caplet. Children 6 to under 9 yrs.: 2/3 caplet. Children 3 to under 6 yrs.: 1/3 caplet. Children under 3 years: ask a doctor. Swallow with water, do not chew. Repeat every 1/2 to 1 hour as needed. Not more than 8 doses in 24 hours.
Warnings
Do not use: for children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu. If nausea or vomiting occurs, ask a doctor because this could be an early sign of Reye Syndrome, a rare but serious illness; if you are allergic to salicylates including aspirin. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medications for: anticoagulation (thinning the blood); diabetes; gout. Stop use and ask a doctor if: taken with other salicylates such as aspirin and ringing in the ears occurs; diarrhea occurs with a fever or lasts more than 2 days; other symptoms last more than 2 weeks. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. May cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue or stool.
