I have had 2 Freestyle meters over the past 5 years. One being the big one and the second being the smaller meter. It is quick, painless, accurate, tiny, and works with a spec of blood. I will only use Freestyle. I have used the smaller meter for 5 years and it is beginning to get slow, takes about 10 seconds now...rather than the virtually instant results Im used to :-) (Posted on 1/27/09)
2.Excellent meter - compact and accurate - nice features | Review by Gary
This is the second meter I have had, the first being larger. The small size makes it convenient for travel. Both the display and strip lights up. (Posted on 7/18/08)
3.Freestyle Flash-Great for kids | Review by Martha M. Shaw
This is the best glucometer we have tried. I have tried One Touch, One Touch Ultra, BD, Bayer, and many more. This is the one that has the features that I have been complaining about the others not having. I test my son a lot at night. This has, not only a back light, but also a little light by the strip so you can see your blood sample without turning on the light. As soon as the blood sample is on the strip the back light turns on. Genius! Great for movie theatres, dark car, etc. I used to have to carry a flash light. Nice small size that fits nicely into your palm. The others often slipped out of my hand. I have nothing bad to say about this product. (Posted on 6/8/08)
